Collection of Personal Data

When you access our website igarten.ch, some personal data is recorded by cookies, and you can also send us data with your consent (e.g. using the contact form).

We store personal data as long as this is necessary for the respective purpose. Otherwise, we will delete them with the exception of data that we may have to keep in order to fulfill legal obligations (e.g. retention obligations).

The following sections explain which user-related data we collect and what it is used for.

Cookies

This site uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device in the browser when you visit the website. With the help of cookies, a website can remember certain actions and settings for a certain period of time so that you do not have to enter this information every time you visit the website or when you switch from one page to another. We use a cookie to store the language displayed on the website.

You can deactivate cookies in whole or in part at any time in the settings in your browser. If cookies are deactivated, you may no longer be able to use all the functions of this website. Existing cookies can also be deleted at any time in the browser settings.

Server Log Files

Our website is hosted by Kreativ Media GmbH in Zurich, Switzerland. At Kreativ Media, server log files with the following information are created for each access to this website:

  • IP address
  • Date, time, time zone
  • Referrer URL (website through which the user came to the current website or file)
  • operating system used
  • browser used
  • amount of data transferred

Those log entries cannot be assigned to a specific person. They are used to identify technical problems as well as to guarantee security and to statistically evaluate the use of our website with the free open source software AWStats.

SSL / TLS Encryption

This website uses SSL / TLS encryption for the secure transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries using the contact form. You can recognize the encrypted connection by the fact that https:// is displayed instead of http:// in the address line of your browser and by the lock symbol displayed. Data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Contact Form And Email

The data or messages you enter in the contact form, which you send us by email, are saved for the purpose of individual communication with you. For this, a valid email address and your name are required. This is used to assign the request and then answer it. The specification of further data is optional.

The data or messages you enter in the contact form and which you send us by email will remain with us until you ask us to delete them, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed) . We do not pass on any information to third parties.

Embedded YouTube Videos

We embed YouTube videos on our website. It is a service provided by the US company Google LLC. The Irish Google Limited Ireland is responsible for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.

When embedding such a video, your browser connects to Google servers. We use YouTube in the extended data protection mode, whereby, according to Google, no cookies are set to analyze usage behavior. No data on usage activities is therefore collected in order to personalize the video playback. Nevertheless, certain elements are stored on your device in the browser’s local storage for functional purposes. Further information can be found in the Google data protection declaration.

Share Button for Facebook

On some of our web pages, we use a share button for Facebook. A connection to the Facebook servers is only established when you click on it. The Facebook page opens in a new browser window. If you have a Facebook profile, you can log in and share the corresponding igarten.ch website with your friends. The American Facebook Inc. is responsible for data protection on Facebook. Further information can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy.

Data Subject Rights

As a visitor to our website, you have the right to request confirmation free of charge as to whether we have saved your personal data. If so, we will give you information about what data is involved. You can have the processing of your personal data restricted, your personal data corrected, deleted (“right to be forgotten”) or blocked, revoke consent and object to the processing of your personal data.
